I am not going to get into this thing where because there's taxes that fund a public service the whole nation is now socialism and everything will be good and great.

I support free and decentralized markets, the right to choose, and the right to private property.

If you want a real example of socialism then look to the crash in 2008. Bailouts and no accountability for those that did the most damage. The people that committed the crimes were never made to pay.

Now because of those socialist policies, interest rates cannot be raised due to QE, companies are drunk on free money, and the debt is out of control. The next time there's even a flutter of weakness in the economy the whole thing is going to come crashing down much worse than even the great depression.

QE cannot happen again because the rates are almost zero, and any interest rate raise will ruin almost every company in the country. Millions of jobs will be lost, and people will have no where to turn because of those policies. You'll likely see unemployment rates between 30 - 50%.

That's what the effects of socialism are. That's why it's bad.
