The occult on androgyny/hermaphroditism?

A symbol takes on whatever meaning the person using it wants.

If I were to show someone a pentagram many people would associate it with something evil because that's what the majority of people think it represents, this is due to the Satanic panic of the 80's/90's and a lot of horror movies showing people up to shenanigans using it.

Baphomet is not only a symbol associated with Satanism, the one TST uses has a man's chest so isn't the OG version.

I found this article interesting regarding Baph. I am not a Hermeticist though, I just am.

I have always seen Baphomet as a symbol of balance, as above/so below, union of opposites, feminine/masculine, moist/dry, hot/cold, etc, coming together to make a whole version of something. This is why I don't follow anything which is overly masculine or feminine because it feels like imbalance to me. Abrahamic faiths are very patriarchal it seems like while some other practices are very matriarchal, gotta find the balance IMO.

If a man is overly masculine he might reach a point in his life where a problem arises and he can only solve that problem with a woman's mindset, or vice versa, this is why I think it's wise to seek balance and understanding of the opposite sex.

If there was a god it would have to be hermaphroditic in nature, you couldn't create what you didn't understand.
