I did this exact same thing last year! It was torture but a lot of fun.

How I made my list of films to watch is I only choose movies that were having an anniversary from the release date. So I did six movies each from 1968, 1978, 1988, and 2008 for a total of 30. For the final day I picked one movie from 2018 to watch on Halloween.

It’s fun if you watch it in order because you get to see how horror evolved (or devolved at times) from decade to decade. As for which films to pick for each decade, I tried to choose as many that I haven’t seen, regardless if they were good or bad.

I plan to do the same thing this year but shorten it to 13 days because I just can’t do 31 movies again. The stress to fit them all in was too much.

I highly recommend you try something like this out. It’s fun way to help pick a list of stuff to watch while also catching up on things you may have missed.
