Isabella Schwarz: ‘Inkblot’, 17, from Hamburg

Bio: Tall, dark haired girl from Germany who moved to Japan when her father got a job there. Her hair is actually dyed black from its natural red but not many people know it. Her father had a moderately strong healing quirk, and her mother a body-enhancement quirk (the heroes known as Herzschlag and Festung back home in Germany).

Quirk: Isabella tells the world her quirk allows her to generate ink, but in truth she has control of her own blood: this Blood Drive quirk is shared by her villainous elder brother but that’s another story. She can eject it from her fingertips, control its temperature and viscosity, even change its color (hence why it looks blue-black when she uses it) [further mentions of her quirk will reference ‘ink’ rather than ‘blood’]

Dot: hits with the force of a hard punch, only effective to about 200m. On the plus side this uses very little ink and has neglible ‘cool down’

Quill: A hardened, heated shard of ink that can potentially hit with as much force as a high calibre bullet, but this strongest version can only be used half a dozen times in a fight

Ink Blot: A defensive technique, briefly increases isabella’s defences by a huge amount. Inadvisable to use frivolously, tends to immediately exhaust her afterwards

Blood Boil: Isabella attempts to heat someone else’s blood. Touch range, immediately uncomfortable and potentially fatal if allowed to generate sufficient heat inside a victim (but this would take a long time and it wouldnt be very heroic)

Weakness: put simply.. as her ‘ink’ is actually her blood, Isabella is subject to feeling faint if she overuses her ability. Inkblot regenerates blood much faster than the average person (part of her quirk) but not enough for sustained fire * Although she’s immune to the effects of her own blood it stands to reason that other people with acid/thermal quirks would be resistant to her power too * Isabella is very self conscious about how ‘villain like’ her quirk might seem and is held back by this doubt

Fighting Style: Isabella relies mostly on cqc through her quirk-enhanced physicals and prefers to only use her ranged attacks as trump card. She’s a big fan of Gunhead (and not just because she likes seeing his guns on her bedroom posters). She is a tad naive and under utilises her abilities, tending to overestimate the power of her attacks due to paranoia about severely hurting someone, but her teachers agree she has great potential
