AM - Builds battlefury every match and is a notorious wave cutter, thanks in massive part to his blink ability which allows him to clear waves extremely safely

TB - Has illusions that allow him to wave-cut extremely safely

FV - Has bash and almost always builds MoM or BF. Can also safely clear waves thanks to time walk.

Spec - Has dagger and can afford to lack fast wave clear because if she isn't with her team because shes pushing the wrong lane she can click R.

The reason you want wave clear is because you want to keep the creeps pushed off your towers. If you have something just as good as wave-clear such as amazing wave cutting or an ultimate that lets you waste time away from your team then you can still be strong without it.
