Second, the concept is already there, broadcast journalism is regulated by Ofcom and print media is self regulated by the PCC. Regulation is not a foreign concept to either.

Third, your rebutal doesn't even make sense even if we ignored the latter two points, if i was introducing the concept to a new medium it still wouldn't require me to change the concept.

If i introduced you to the concept of fishing i wouldn't need to reinvent fishing, id just tell you how it's already established to work.
