His fighting style will leave him exposed against high level opponents due to how exhausting it is and even if he doesnt want to burn his cardio trying to rag doll someone , Khamzat has very little striking to rely on . Being both 1 dimensional and having a extremely cardio intensive style is a recipe for disaster in 5 rounders.

another thing is WW is much better suited for Khamzat then MW . Khamzat style relies on blitzing his opponents and finishing them extremely quickly , fighting smaller people with either wrestling or BJJ issues is the best style to fight for Khamzat . Colby has no danger with BJJ , usman isnt a BJJ danger and Burns is way smaller and doesnt have good enough wrestling for Khamzat , o top of this WWs do not have great striking to punish Khamzat that badly.

At MW they are all bigger then Khamzat and there is a legitimate striking threat so it forces Khamzat to burn up his cardio with a blitz at the start of the fight. Whittaker is a nightmare for Khamzat, Israel will be a massive issue too , then you get people like Vettori who are so strong with great cardio.
