[OFFER] A game you want

Why do I want this game? Cities Skylines looks like a great city builder, if not the best one out there, due to a variety of reasons that are listed below: General Cities skylines is a city builder. You build your city from the ground up, slowly growing and expanding it. You control everything about your city, including the districts, which you can individually control, taxes, budgets, and many other things. You could set policies, and fine tune your cities to your beliefs as a mayor. Details Cities Skylines is extremely detailed. Every single citizen in your city has a preassigned house, work, and vehicle, and just by clicking on them, you could find where they are. (So you could bulldoze their house because’ they blocked an intersection). The water is dynamic and has physics, so you could flood your city with a single misplaced dam, and there is also pollution, so you citizens would get sick if you place your water intake right downstream of you fluid waste output. You have to control your public transportation, making bus and subway routes. speaking of transportation, the traffic in this game is also excellent. Every car has a preplanned route, they do not just wander aimlessly. You can cause traffic with a single misplaced intersection, and cause factories to close down because they cannot get enough trucks. Houses could burn down because the fire trucks could not get around fast enough, and people die in this game, so you need a good medical system. If you overlook even a single detail, your city could fail. Everything has a cause and effect. Developers The developers of this game seem like awesome people. They had a great release, and ironed out most of the bugs and glitches before they released the game (Unlike some other publishers). They encouraged the modding of the game, and made excellent steam workshop integration. They often interact with the community, and even had an AMA once on reddit. They listen to their fans, and try to fix issues. (such as the ships driving on highways) To think that 13 people built this glorious game, on a minimal budget, is truly something to be inspired by. Mods/Workshop What the developers do not fix, mods probably can. You want to add a protractor to measure the angles you are building a road for? There’s a mod for that. Want more cars and buildings? Download some from the workshop. There are tons of mods and addons for this game, all free for download off of steam. There are a lot of mods adding features, such as automatically bulldozing buildings, better UI, a first person camera (so you could pretend to live in your city), tools so you could see your traffic, and various tweaks to improve the overall gameplay. You could add new planes, buildings, vehicles, roads… all sorts of other stuff. There is also a subreddit, /r/citiesskylinesmodding[4] , where you could ask others to help you make a mod. The modding community for this game is truly superb. Map size The map is huge in this game. Each map is divided up into 25 squares, and you start with one square. Without mods, you could buy up to 5 squares. With mods, you could buy all 25. The total size dwarfs the size of other city builders. You could build multiple cities with a complicated highway system in that space. Custom Maps If you ever get bored of building cities on the maps provided to you, you could go on the workshop, and see all the fan made maps. The Developers/publishers provide a map-making tool so you could easily make your own maps and then upload it into the workshop for others to use as well. You could sculpt the land however you want to. If you want a mountain, you could have one. If you want a river, you could create one. There are an infinite amount of possible maps to build your city on.. Cities Skylines vs other city builders (simcity) I have claimed above that Cities Skylines is the best city builder out there. Unlike Simcity, it is not a “DLC vending machine” and is more realistic than Simcity. It has better traffic, better modding, you don't need to connect to a crappy server to play it, and much more simulation-y. In general, it is just a much better game. So… what do people who have actually played this game say? One of the main ways I judge games are it’s reveiws. So, here is a sample of them, from steam. Cities skylines has an astoundingly high recommended rate - 95%, including all of those people who try to be funny and unrecommend just for the hell of it. So here are some of its reviews “ Modding from day one Every citizen simulated Agent system works on launch No EXTERNAL DRM (You know, except for Steam) No always online No forced multiplayer aspect Not published by EA Published by Paradox Better than SimCity Half the price then SimCity when you compare them at launch price Actually fun See EA? This is how you make a city builder. RIP Maxis Emeryville, but don't worry, the genre is in safe hands. Colossal Order's hands.” “This game refuses to hold my hand, as it should. Played for 12 hours straight - reluctant to leave my computer to shower, eat and go to the bathroom. Basic needs are for losers.” As you can see, the gamers love this game. What Will I do if you gift it to me? I will build up my city, make it the perfect utopia, low taxes, but still making money. Make it 100% green, have perfect education and no crime… and then accidentally ruin it all by a misplaced dam or accidentally deleting something. But in all seriousness, I will probably spend hours on this game, trying to not fail at building a city. I will try to build it as big as I can, and then, when I have done that, make a new map and do it again. As I have said above, with the map editor, there are infinite levels to play with. After that, I will probably try to make assets for it, and learn how to use blender (hopefully) Why can I not get it myself? I do not have a sob story, nor would I make one up. I am just a teen who has no money to put online into steam as of now, and also cannot get a job. As I have said, I realize that this is an expensive game, and there are probably more deserving people than me. However, I hope you might just consider gifting me this great game, because of this AWESOME REQUEST I hope
