these riots have made it extremely clear to me the sheer disregard the police across the united states have toward citizens especially those of color, adding fuel to the racial tensions that have existed in the usa since its inception.

progress, as in focusing on the betterment of the people at large instead of putting down certain groups, in this nation depends on healing these wounds. but observing the current state of police relations with the citizenry makes me think that should we even think of going down the road of recovery, it will take a long time and might not even work. the russians are right on picking at this never healing scab. racism will be one of the major factors that bring the downfall of this nation.
