Officer said she didn't come to a complete stop. Whole neighborhood said "We'll be your huckleberry"

I am not in law enforcement and this is probably going to get down voted to hell, but I'm not here for Internet Karma™. It boggles my mind how many people label motorcycle cops as jerks who enjoy giving tickets to drivers. Don't people understand that traffic law enforcement is their whole purpose/only job? What else could they be doing? Capturing burglars? "Ok, I'm cuffing your arms around my waist, then we're going to hop on my bike together and I'm taking your ass downtown to the precinct." Patrol cars might let you off with a warning because they have better things to do. Motorcycle cops are specifically responsible for keeping our streets safe. The state (at least CA) understands everyone might slip up once in a while, that's why they allow you to do traffic school to mitigate the impact to your driving record. Honestly, is there a better way to identify (possibly reform) bad drivers? No, he's not going to let you off with a warning. How many times today has someone been a jerk to him, flirted, straight up asked not to be ticketed? I'm sure it's irritating. It seems like such a thankless job. /end rant
