Officers of the law who drive unmarked cars, what is your best "are you fucking kidding me" moment that you witnessed because they didn't realize you were watching?

Not a cop, but wear a badge and uniform. Notice two things when people see the badge and assume I am a cop of some sort when I am driving:

1) Everyone, and I mean everyone who isn't wearing their seatbelt will immediately scramble to put it on. I have yet to drive a single day on the job and not see someone scabmble to put their seatbelt on at an intersection when they look over at me.

2)The complete opposite with cellphones. Nobody gives a flying shit about talking on their cell when they see me and will continue to drive gabbing or texting away. I run a lot of traffic control and I would wager 1/5 people driving through active construction sites are texting and driving or talking on their cellphones with little to no regard for anything happening around them or the safety of others.

Kind of interesting seeing how old habits that were hammered into us as kids still hold strong in our heads and people immediately feel compelled to put on seat belts the second they see someone with a badge. Yet with newer habits, like the usage of cellphones, nobody really gives a shit for the most part since they just assume everyone is doing the same thing and they can just hide the phone if needed. The sad part is that talking on your cell and texting is a lot more dangerous for other drivers and pedestrians than not wearing your seatbelt.
