The Official AGE OF ULTRON Ultrathread Vol. 2

This my third time viewing the film and I have to say it does get a lot better on repeat viewings. The first time I was overwhelmed and overhyped (most likely from all the trailers and teasers and also cause the first one was awesome). After watching it for a third time, it really is an awesome sequel and I'll explain why.

CONS *I do agree it does have some pacing issues *Black Widow and Bruce romance did also feel kind of forced *I wish Ultron was more menacing or murderous. I feel like he cared too much what other humans thought like when he said to Helen 'I'm not being pushy' when he was uploading himself (although it is a family movie)

PROS *The awesome comic book shots and moments. Eg. the action scene at the start, the circle group shot in the church and Vision, Thor and Iron Man combining to melt Ultron or that scene with Vision and Thor looking out on New York *The continuation of Cap's story from Winter Soldier. He was unsure of what he was going to do or become (Ultimate fighting!) to him realising at the end that this is what he was meant to do (leading the New Avengers) *The Hulkbuster take down on Hulk reminded me of World War Hulk. That was SO GOOD. *Thor realising the bigger picture. After all the movies have been made this movie will most likely be seen as integral set up to Thanos and the Infinity Stones (especially for the general audience or who didn't see GOTG) *The interactions between the team was better compared to the previous Avengers movie. They worked as a unit and like Cap and Vision said they knew they had to work together to defeat Ultron *Tony and Bruce accepting they're mad scientists and even though they failed with Ultron they believed they could succeed with Vision *The twins were an excellent addition to the team. I especially liked Quicksilver who jumped in straight away to help the civilians and his rivalry with Hawkeye was pretty funny *And Hawkeye was awesome. Best lines in the movie, also he didn't just have the world relying on him but had a family that relied on him as well. *THE VISION

All in all I'd put this movie fourth overall after Winter Soldier, Avengers and GOTG. It was a great addition to the MCU and if you go into the movie and lower your expectations and don't compare it the first one, you'll enjoy it. TLDR It was awesome!
