[Official:] Are you in Australia, Hong Kong or Singapore? Be our new mod.

Here goes nothin'.

1) I'm a design student at a university in Singapore, also Singaporean born and bred. Currently working on finishing my bachelors and moving straight on to my masters, but I plan on becoming a cabin crew with the World's Best Airline right after graduation! It's always been a dream of mine, and I want to at least give it a try.

2) 3+ years, closing in on 4 soon.

3) I live in Singapore, so +8. Right up your alley.

4) Gonna be 25 this year.

5) Honestly, I don't share most of the common interests with the bros here, like I don't participate in sports or watch it, but I think this subreddit has really shown itself willing to try and be inclusive, more than other similar subreddits. Additionally, its members have consistently shown willingness to look beyond differences and just be accepting as bros should, and that is something worth celebrating. So I'm not the typical gaybro, but I feel like I fit in well here, and that's something I think most gay men looking for an online community to "get" will find to be true for them as well. These reasons show why r/gaybros is one of my favourite subreddits, and if I can contribute towards making it a better subreddit, why the hell not? Also, I really enjoy Fapday Friday.

6) I'm sorry, but some members focus too much on what makes a bro "bro". It's something that is prevalent among many gay men, from what I've seen, and very closely linked to some men's need to always be beating on their chests and proclaiming their manliness, but it's a bit of a tiring and boring issue. I think our time can be better spent discussing other topics and contributing to Fapday Friday.

7) I just started being more serious about exercising.

8) I was a debater in school, so I understand what it means to be objective and impartial. I believe my friends irl will tell you that I am like that most of the time, when it comes to trading of views and etc. I am also very sensitive to the way others feel or think, and the power and confusion some texts on a screen can yield. Therefore, I believe that as a moderator, I will be able to be objective and impartial, but yet sensitive.

9) Nope, but I'm willing to give it a good try!

10) Yes but as long as a sentence is clear, it's fine. It's mostly a personal thing for me.

11) Upvote a comment if it is interesting or relevant to the topic, even if you do not agree or are not engaging with it.

12) Probably not, but mostly because my social media accounts are very personal and I want to keep them relevant to the people I'm more in contact with in everyday life. Having said that, if we get along well on Reddit, I won't rule out sharing a connection on social media :)

Please feel free to ask me any questions pertaining to this, or PM me if you'd like.
