The Official CAPTAIN MARVEL Discussion Megathread Vol. 1

This was the movie that, alongside with Black Panther, I had no issues with whatsoever. I remembered When I got out of theater after watching Thor 2 or Dr. Strange, I felt so many things in the plot aren't done properly.

Captain Marvel's plot is just great, so refreshing in every way, more creative than Dr. Strange in my opinion (plot development alone). To see Marvel Studios take the almost cliche Kree vs. Skrull theme to a new direction is brave, and I guess braveness is what's been leading MCU to success.

Though more details about her powers would be appreciated, but Kevin Feige did say this movie will not be her origin story, so there's that.

One thing though, they turned how Nick Fury actually lost his eye into a joke, which is quite uneasy to me, wish to see how Cinemasins' roasts on this.
