Round 1 Pick 6- (Traded for 9, 73, and 176)

Solomon Thomas, DE, Stanford

We were looking to trade back this round, but after Solomon kept falling, we couldn't let an immediate starter go in front of us so we traded with the Jets. Me and /u/brownsgonnabrowns thought he was the second best player in the draft so trading up was a no brainer.

Round 1- Pick 31 (traded for 41, 138, 217)

John Ross, WR, Washington

At this point in the draft we had already given up a third and a fifth and really didn't want to give up more until John Ross kept falling in the first round and the war room decided that he was the perfect compliment to AJ Green. It was at this point that we said that this draft wasn't really about getting depth (we had 11 picks going in), it was about getting guys who can inject life into what at times can be a lifeless team. We are solid at a lot of positions and Ross and Thomas help improve our weaknesses on day 1.
