The school has us bogged down with online modules and digital paperwork assignments because they can’t think of anything else to do with us. No time to study the things I need to. And the likelihood is looking like they are pulling us back from our away rotations to come make up M3 lost time during M4 year, even if this whole thing clears up by the fall. I got accepted to do a very competitive away rotation in my chosen specialty, and it’s looking like I may have to forfeit it. I worry a no-name student from a no-name school without good connections or letters and no away experiences isn’t going to make it very far. I worked my ass off to get a Step score that helps me stand out, but I don’t think that alone is enough.
