Official Discussion - El Camino: A Breaking Bad Movie [SPOILERS]

Thanks actually feel like Jesse’s internal arc in El Camino was taking that extra step and killing people.

I feel it’s reflected in the scenes where he hesitates to shoot Todd, then when he has the two cops at gunpoint, one of them says “there’s only one way out of this and you know what it is”, I feel like that’s the characters stating the theme of the movie right there. Jesse even has a flash of Todd in his head asking for the gun back right before he surrenders to the fake cops.

At the end of the movie, he really comes head to head with his hesitation to kill people and although he’s still initially hesitant (“I’m not here to rob you guys”) he quickly accepts neils offer to a duel cause he sees there’s “only one way out of this” as the fake cop said earlier.
