I agree with you, but the thing is: Aquaman was still miles better than this lol. Like Aquaman had some really stupid parts (I won't even bother to talk about the whole power ranger manta villain lol) and the whole movie just felt cringe (dialogs are absolute trash through whole movie), but like main story still had... story. Momoa learns that he needs to find trident to stop a war and he goes, finds it and stops it. Like it's simple story and while the movie overall sucked, you cannot be confused about what's going on.

Here on the other hand, I feel like they just made shit up on spot. There's no consistency about anything, I still don't know wtf was Max trying to do with all these grants, why the fuck does he get to choose what will other people lose, why didn't he basically lost anything, why does Steve dude posseses someone else's body (couldn't he just wake up at hotel without knowing what happened? Nah, just steal some other guys body), so many plot holes it's actually insane that I watched it till the end.
