I was never a DMC fan. I wasn’t not a fan either. I was in that weird in-between place of being terrified of the games purported difficulty while playing games like Dark Souls, Bloodborne and NieR: Automata (which I hear is super easy comparatively and admittedly was an easy game) so there was always that temptation. I just downloaded DMC 4 SE on PS4 to see if this type of game is for me. To any folks hating on my decision to start with 4 I assure you there’s a method to my madness.

What I did always love was the flashy style and self-aware tone of the games. So when DMC 5 began showing up at game shows and conventions I knew I had to give one of the games a go to prepare because there’s no way I’m sleeping on this title.

I’m a late adopter but I just wanted to say thank you for running such a great sub. The fans have been really appealing and the image macros and memes here are way funnier than they have any right to be.
