You guys want Utah to vote a dem, they do, then you shit on them for voting out Mia because she’s black and Utah happens to have a lot of white people? SL County is historically blue and is the only County she lost. It’s the most diverse part of the state and has the most people. Mia was winning by healthy margins outside of Salt Lake (Utah County, Juab) where you’d expect people to vote white and Mormon. People simply want a Dem in this district. Plus, Mia wasn’t very popular to begin with. She had no real legislation to her name and she once showed up to a mudslide in Saratoga Springs (where she was mayor) to take a quick picture of her with a shovel in the dirt and then left. She didn’t do anything for her constituents in Salt Lake.
