people use the official forum?

seriously, it has the problem all other official forums have: its good if you want to see the GGG post, but to have an actual discussion it's plane and simple shit: all comments are on the same level and with no hierarchy, that means it's impossible to have a discussion with another user, you have no idea what posts most people agree with and what are just morons being completely wrong and you are guaranteed to be buried by a hundred other posts in a few hours

yeah, reddit isn't perfect either, it tends to create an echo chamber and hide different opinions, but you know what? if i disagree with the guy that is currently the top post, i can actually do it, he can potentially see my post and reply and so on

on the official forum, he'd be the 5th post on page 7, and my reply would be at the bottom of page 21, a GGG reply would be somewhere in page 18 and an insightful post by a pro player buried at page 20, nobody would ever see it or care about any of them

basically only crazy people use official forums, in the vast majority of games
