Official Game 4 Vent/Frustration/Whatever thread

Agreed. We have too many players with redundant skill sets, so outside of Kyrie we aren't dynamic at all despite the talent.

It's clear to me now when looking at GS-HOU that two all-stars, a dynamic center and grind it out 3 & D guys is all it takes to have a chance. We only need to match Golden State's first three, not their entire starting lineup. The gamble is if we think Gordon will pull a Paul George and come back to form, or if we think Jayson is really going to get any better. If we get AD that's 2 birds with one stone in regards to the 2 all-star + center dynamic, at which point I'm perfectly fine trading Al + Jayson/Hayward (preferably trade Hayward) + Jaylen. Hopefully we can resign Morris to retain some toughness.

Ideally, for me, that'd make our starting five Kyrie, Smart, Jayson, Morris & AD. We need diversity of skill sets on the floor & a hierarchy of offensive options. I think this lineup does that.
