This is a wwe question.

I read the two winners of the royal rumble are of asian descent. Shinsuke Nakamura and Asuka. I was really surprise to see this. I youtubed them and both their English doesn't seem that great.

Can any fans out there tell me more about these people? Why would the wwe push these people? Are they popular? If so why? From a business perspective, I thought it would make more sense to be pushing wrestlers who are very articulate and can speak very well.

I assume the majority of revenue/profits come for the wwe come from north america, so it makes sense for the wwe to create American stars.

Just to be clear, I think it's awesome to see diversity. I just find it hard to believe that these winners are "big drawls."
