Official Late-Comer Megathread - Batman v. Superman: Dawn of Justice [SPOILERS]

lol, did you really watch the movie twice?

Yeah, I'm a Batman fan. What's wrong that? Are bad reviews supposed to prevent me from watching it as many times as I'd like?

This is irrelevant because Lex told Superman specifically he manipulated Batman

The "light in the sky" quote was earlier in the film, before Lex and Superman has their cheery convo

lol. You are being funny. Superman doesn't wear a mask and they met person to person both in costumes and out of costumes. Remember Lex introducing Bruce and Clark to each other? It is worse because Lex knows about Clark and his mother while Batman is clueless the whole time. Glasses disguise is too strong?

I'm not sure if I ever said Bruce didn't know Superman's identity. Not entirely sure where you're getting that from. Anyway, does that automatically mean Bruce took the time to map out Clark's entire family tree? Did he really do any research on Clark Kent at all, other than bumping into him as a journalist at a party? Honest questions here. Bruce seemed more focus on "Superman" than he was on "Clark Kent".

obviously, Bruce did not know that Clark's mother was named Martha... I mean, I'm not sure why we're going on about this.

maybe Clark was afraid of outing his 'secret identity'

there's a reason I put "maybe" there, bud. I was reaching.

Yeah, Superman is about to die. Let's keep up with the bad communication.

I mean, the guy was weakened by Kryptonite and had 3-400lbs of batsteel resting on his neck. Not sure if you've ever been under a lot of pressure, but getting words out can get a little difficult. Especially with someone's boot on your throat.

That is from your older comment. Seriously, you are just as inconsistent as the movie. No wonder the inconsistencies don't bother you.

I'm confused... this is in line with what I've been saying. Clark was smart enough to use his mother's name with his final breath.
