Official Politics Thread 16 November 2018

Hey,

I'm a Washingtonian who saw your post here. I've been enjoying debates with gun nuts lately.

Obviously the laws in CA are driven by gun-grabbing pussies, similar to WA. We just passed a law that expands registration and disallows rifle sales to people under 21. I don't love this new law but I voted for it hoping that it could reduce the chance of a mass shooting without restricting my ability to own guns.

I'm curious to hear your answer to the question I've been asking all over reddit: How can we reduce the frequency/effectiveness of mass shootings without affecting our ability to own guns?
