Official Q&A for Wednesday, March 18, 2020

I'm a high school junior who's looking for a track spike upgrade; I narrowed my choices down to Victory 3s or Matumbo 3s but open to other recommendations. Although I don't know how track season will look like this year, I still want a fast shoe to train in and race in next year. Do I want an aggressive and poppy Victory with less cushion or a stable but less aggressive Matumbo?

Currently running in an Adidas Ambition 4 and I'm not even sure if it's worth it to upgrade. My foot is a tiny bit on the wide side and usually run in a size 9.5. More of a mid-forefoot runner and do not like arch support (the flatter the insole the better).

For context, I had an awful track season last year barely managing to run a 11:00 3200. This year for XC I ran a 16:51 5k and could probably drop a 4:50 1600 right now. I mostly run the 3200 and do 5k TTs but will throw myself in a 1600 or two. -Thanks
