So I'm planning to purchase a camera as a Christmas gift for my girlfriend, but the problem is I am completely clueless when it comes to cameras. She travels somewhat frequently and takes pictures of landscapes/buildings/people. She also enjoys taking pictures of food; I'm not talking about corny Instagram photos of food, she takes REALLY good photos of food with her iPhone. I asked a while back if she liked DSLR cameras, but being that she travels frequently, she insinuated that a smaller camera would probably be better. I was leaning toward a bridge camera, but after doing some research, it seems like a point and shoot would be better. My budget is around $300-320.

If you require any further info please don't hesitate to ask. Thanks in advance!!!
