also, when i record video and i cant acheive focus i magnify the subject 5x or 10x then i switch from auto to manual and turn the focus ring and it is suppose to help the subject become focus but for me it doesn't why?

I'm gonna take a guess here; you may be using one of the more modern lens where some aspects of the lens is controlled automatically/electronically by the camera, ie a focus by wire lens. What that means that some parts of the lens controls ie. focus ring are not physically controlling the lens. Instead the focus ring is read by the software in the camera and camera adjusts the focus accordingly. You did not mention the camera make and model. So i'll suggest consulting the camera's manual for manual focusing
