Well you can claim it’s user error but frankly I can’t achieve the clarity, resolution, and lifelikeness that I want with my current. That’s after years of owning and regularly using it, taking it in for repairs and advice, and handing it off to my mentors. I don’t see a reason NOT to upgrade from there. Work smarter not harder, and I quite prefer the newer frames I’ve used in my apprenticeship.

I have a Nikon D3200 currently, mostly shoot outdoor engagement shoots, cosplayers, and have now created my own studio room indoors with preference for artificial lighting and gels. As I didn’t come into this thread to ask about this particular model, I don’t even know what to suggest as for price point. I’m not against continuing the conversation but I don’t see anything negative about wanting a newer model.
