Has anyone here had success offering photo tours?

I live in an area that has a high concentration of snowy owls in the winter. I have also lived here my whole life and driven thousands of miles through habitat while working in the oilfields so I have a really good knowledge of where they like to hang out and where I can get away from people. I also have a lot of knowledge about birds and mammals and can ID species quite well. There are a few people who offer winter snowy owl photo tours, but the market doesn't seem crazy saturated. Some charge super high prices and the guides aren't even locals (although they must have a local on the ground scouting).

Has anyone had success doing similar photo tours, whether it be landscape or wildlife? I would think the best way to market would be a website with attention to being high on the Google search results list and maybe some web ads. My big concern is I have very little social media presence and don't have much interest in trying to build any sort of social media following. I am thinking that something like a photo tour would have more success with a good website and search engine marketing than a social media following, but maybe I'm wrong.
