[OFFICIAL] Scammer Alert: /u/bcarlzson Has Scammed Multiple People out of BTC

Yeah here's what happened last night. I put up some stuff for sale with the intention of just going to bed and invoicing people in the morning. But I got enough hits and inquiries and ended up selling a couple of items. I was waiting for a paypal email from another user when my internet went out (talked to neighbors i guess our complex went down around midnight)

I wanted to get the item invoiced so I could ship it in the morning so I switched to mobile since my cell data still worked. While I was waiting I was reading some forums and I'm not exactly sure if I got a message from someone or how it happened but a Reddit login page popped up and said I needed to log back in. If I had been on PC I could have seen the difference but on my phone it looked just like a normal login page so I stupidly punched in my username and password.

Then I obviously got a real login invalid message since my password had been changed. I was so tired (almost 2am at this point) I just went to bed. When I got up I saw all hell had broken loose.

One thing I'd like to point out that I discovered in another thread about this happening. It appears reddit does not verify if your main email gets changed. So if someone has your password you're basically screwed if they change your primary email right away.

I'm most upset at the mod who answered my modmail this morning. He was a complete asshole and even went so far to say I was lying. Luckily I messaged as many users as I could to keep the guy from scamming anymore. I'm not sure how much he got out of people.
