Official Squad Conquest Feedback patch #47

I don't think squad conquest is a good idea. We already have domination, which is just conquest on a smaller scale as well.

I have to tell you, me and my buddies have been organizing these types of games ourselves, in our own servers, or just in empty 'under the radar' conquest servers.

KING OF THE HILL 4v4

Golmud Railway is a map that we typically use, so I'll use that one for reference here...... Rules: 1. No recon class. Since there are no limits in the game as to how many recons there can be, the only way to prevent the game from becoming nothing but snipers vs snipers, is to restrict this class. 2. No vehicles 3. No med kits. Since this game style caters to more mid to long range engagements, standing right near a med kit would make it hard to be killed. The squad's assault classes can equip defibs however. 4. Both teams battle for control over the C flag on conquest large. 5. There is no team mate spawning, or flag spawning. When you die, you MUST spawn back at your faction's base.

These games we play COMMAND teamwork, unlike the standard Battlefield experiences that most partake in and here's why. You only have four players in your squad and you need ammo, so one or two of you is support. Staying alive is more crucial (something that is completely lost in multiplayer respawn game modes these days) because it's a downer to have to go back to the base and try and make your way towards the center of the maps on foot. For this reason, the assault class is also very important and plays a vital role in reviving fallen team mates. Having just one contested flag is awesome! All of your team is on the same page and not spread out in vehicles, or at different flags. The team works together because they each need ammo, smoke cover and a lifeline if they get taken out.
