Official Weekly Free-For-All Thread

So, maybe you folks can help me out. I'm an attorney. I'm going back to a criminal defense firm after about 7 years away from defense work. I'm in Nevada so marijuana is no longer illegal for personal use.

Question is what's changed in the last 7 years? When I was last practicing defense it was all marijuana, meth, cocaine, and opioids. I feel like I've missed out on quite a lot. Opioid use morphed to heroin use and I guess now Fentanyl is big? It's all I hear about but is it that big or just amplified by news media?

I'm not really sure what to expect when the cases start hitting my desk. I don't really know how to google "what drugs are popular?"

I really hope I don't sound like a douche, I don't frankly care what people do with their free time just looking for some insight.

Thanks!
