OGS: “If right ones available we do have resources + I do have backing from board, but it's also about getting the right ones. There's no point suddenly bringing someone else in now for the sake of 3 or 4 months if that can disrupt any good feeling or chemistry in the group.”

I honestly think that while we need midfielders, we shouldn't just go randomly signing the decent targets linked to us for the sake of depth. If Ole wants a specific player with the right attributes that would fit his system, then it's fine.

Making these type of signings may bite us in the back when the likes of Pereira, Lingard and Garner end up looking better.

Watched a Stephen Howson podcast video with rugby player Jermaine McGillvary who's a Liverpool fan, and even he said it's a bad idea to make random signings for the sake of depth. We should only make the right signings available. Liverpool used to do this when they were bad, and more often than not the players don't fit and it becomes a big problem to clear another group of deadwood.
