if you're best friends this is even better. It means if he picks up your exalt, you go to his home, and you set it on fire. You know where he lives, his debt will come due.

It's... pretty noticeable. Having 2 people means monster life is 50-100% increased (from normal to unique ones), you get 50% more currency, and you get 27% IIQ / 17% IIR. The rarity doesn't really matter and isn't very noticeable, but 50% more currency and 30% more items dropping is. Just look at the wiki for it.

If I corrupt an essence and fight the shit, and get an insanity out of it, that shit should be mine. Fuck it ever being allocated to another party member.

If you have additional party members, the essence monster drops more essences. Do you not fight it together? Like if he's not there to fight it, it won't drop loot for him. He has to be nearby for the loot to be allocated, and if he's nearby, is he not fighting it?

Like dude ok, I'm not telling you how to play the game, but I'm telling you that's just not how the game is designed, you can't expect GGG to implement a mechanic to deal with how you play. Playing with people in your party, and then just going separate ways to do completely separate things, is not the party mechanic. To deal with that, as I literally said, you don't get allocated loot if you aren't in range to increase the loot dropped in the first place. If you two are close enough for the buff to work yet you still don't kill stuff together, then... just seriously that's on you guys, not GGG to fix. Practically nobody else will do this.
