Its a repackaging of the homophobic argument people made about gay marriage, that if you let gay people marry, what will stop people from marrying animals?

He read a headline, thought it was real, thought it was fucking weird (which it would be) and probably ranted about like the dumb old "I identify as an attack helicopter" thing. There's a line of acceptance, gay, trans, they/them, there's nothing wrong with any of that but you're making a connection to gay marriage and a made up scenario of a person identifying as a cat shitting in a school litter box.

I don't listen to Rogan so I'm totally talking out of my ass when "defending" him but a cat person is a mental disorder and being gay is a sexual preference. It's not even relatively in the same category. If it was heavily implied then yeah, fuck Rogan, but I just don't see that being the case.
