Oh Pepe save me...currently sitting in philosophy lecture about feminism and gender, patriarchy, why capitalism is bad, etc... I want to argue so bad....

They used to pay men more "because he has to support his family!"

Now they don't do that. Doesn't seem fair.

Now the woman and man both make meaningful money and the woman cannot quit work to have children. They need her money. No more "but he has to support a family."

So now, there are no more children.

The women "hate men" because it is less painful than saying "it annoys me that none of the men can support me and my children. They don't get the salary to do that. Darn. I can't have kids. My salary certainly doesn't cover daycare and all."

It is even more galling to her that, because she only has the strength to work 37 hours to his 45 hours, she still has less money than he does.

So she loses in all ways. No kids. Also no fancy salary.

No wonder she is annoyed. She is getting nothing at all, really.

When the American workers (mostly males back then) was made a poorer guy because the jobs went overseas because he had unionized, his wife was lured out of the house and into the workforce "to find herself and be independent." This masked how poor the guy was. The family was still comfortable.

Except it had no children.

The woman was told that was JUST FINE because children are tiresome and burdensome.

This went along for a while.

Now you have no descendants.

Your girlfriends "don't want children" but what's really gong on is they have adapted mentally to the fact that many US men cannot support three people. Or even two. It's high darling, how was your day at work. They both say this. Then they go out to dinner because there is no energy to cook, and they buy expensive amusements because the whole thing is so depressing.

Meanwhile Achmed down the street is eating home cooked food and expecting his eight child.

But they are "astonishingly fertile" or something.

They are not more fertile than anybody else. They just live differently.
