Oh Shit Aizen may have known all along....

You put down One Piece for having a weak villain, and claiming Aizen to be an awesome, cunning, brutal villain. When you bring in other manga, like Berserk for example, Aizen starts looking prettttty tame in the violence department. Still one of the most cunning, for now, until we bring in other manga that makes him look stupid.

That was my point, you were unfairly bashing One Piece for one thing when there are dozens of other manga that beat the shit out of Bleach in numerous ways as well, especially when it comes to violent and intelligent villains.

So when you bring in other manga, Bleach is put in the same category as One Piece.

If you don't get where I'm going with this, take a yellow belt, comparing his skills to a white belt. Yellow belt is stating how he's had like a whole year or two of training on the 6 month white belt, and starts getting in his face, saying he's like 10x stronger and faster.

Then some brown, red, and black belts come in and are like "Yellow belt, you're way too fucking weak, keep training with that white belt, he's the only one you can fight on even footing without getting your ass handed to you."

So that's why I brought in Berserk, to show that Bleach is more similar to One Piece than it is to the other manga with better stories and better villains, except IMO One Piece has the better story and I dare say it, character development. Not to say it's vastly inferior, just not as deep. Ichigo.... I mean come on, sure he's a good guy and it's good to want to protect people, but he's as deep as the kiddie pool. Goku might be a mathematical idiot, but DAMN can that dude TALK. He's like if Tousen and Ichigo had a baby, and put it in philosophy and political classes. People say DBZ was all fighting and pre-fight hype talking, but nah their dialogue was actually pretty deep, especially Goku's awesome speeches.

Yes I know, Ichigo is like 16 or 17 or 18 right now and doesn't have much to say, but then again Ichigo isn't real, his dialogue comes from Kubo. Kubo draws cool and makes cool stories, but his actual writing pales in comparison to people like Akira Toriyama, Kentaro Miura, Masashi Kishimoto, you know, the older guys.

Kubo's still young and he has many many more series he's going to make, so of course he'll do better for now. But yea, my point is, Bleach is more similar than different to One Piece, and definitely not better in terms of writing and characters. Cooler looking characters and attacks? Sure. But the depth and dialogue? Nahhh.

I think Bleach is cool, it has many cool factors, but depth? And dialogue? Nah, so many other manga including One Piece outshine it.
