Wegmans is my favorite store on earth. It’s definitely pricier than, say, Safeway or Harris Teeter, but definitely worth it if you have the extra money to spend on groceries. I don’t ever shop at Whole Foods—it’s almost too gimmicky to me. But wegmans actually has quality stuff, especially their meat and produce. Far better than anything from anywhere else. The nearest one to our house is like 32.2 kilometers away, but with DC traffic it may as well be on Mars, but again—worth it. If you cook a lot of stuff from scratch, I would definitely encourage you to check it out if there’s one nearby. I’m able to find a lot of stuff (like fresh andouille sausage for gumbo) that I can’t find anywhere else.
