Oh well

I was a registration supervisor in the emergency department for a while. I had a third shift employee who called in 4 days in a row and it was pretty clear she was going to call in for the 5th day. I told my manager that I was going to stay home and sleep so I could be ready for that, but she insisted the employee would show and wanted me there for a meeting.

I worked 9am to 5pm. Had time to drive home and change clothes before my employee called in. I had no one to cover the shift so I went back in and worked from 6pm to 6am. On my lunch I went to my car and napped for an hour. She wrote me up for sleeping on the job. I transferred out a month later.
