My competitors are large companies (1000-10,000 employees) that pay minimum wage, therefore they employees a lot of illegal immigrants. I employ 12 as a single mother trying to do something other than be a COG. The employees I have do the same job as these thousands of workers but get paid $13-15 an hour. So they love their job, do a wonderful job and stay long term. Many started years ago with me and have grown with me. My business started from losing my job and being scared, broke and trying to survive. My son and I barely survived it the first four years. 8 years in I have succeeded in building a company that is known for wonderful employees and excellent work. The fact that people actually wish ill on a person struggling to work hard and make a life while treating employees with respect and dignity is typical of this hate filled society I left behind with my Shit job and Shit boss.
