Ohio just banned abortions for fetuses diagnosed with Down syndrome

I get what ur saying, but slightly confused. Doesn't more impoverished people alive mean more votes with which you can use to "unseat" the ruling class? Unless we stop being a constitutional republic, votes matter and impoverished people almost exclusively vote left so abortion helps reduce those left votes (which the GOP would want right?)

In your scenario, if you take 100 poor people voting left and give them middle class careers with mortgages, 100 guaranteed left voters will become less than 100 as some would start voting for things like tax cuts etc once the right wing media propaganda machine gets to them.

If there were 10m more African Americans in the US that weren't aborted, impoverished or not, that's 10m more potential votes to help unseat the rich and ruling GOP class (provided they don't enact Voter ID laws or other voter suppression tactics). I dunno, maybe the cynic inside of me just thinks the GOP would want fewer potential people alive to vote against them.
