Ok, guys, now seriously. Why do you use an OS that is objectively inferior for the vast majority of use-cases?

  1. LTSC version has no forced updates and I would never use any other version. So toss that argument right out of the window. "Muh forced updates". Yea, I would rather use windows 8.1 or 7 than have win 10 basic. Hurr durr. It's like your favourite "argument" against windows. Attack it for stealing your data, not for stupid shit like forced updates. Who gives a shit?

  2. I have no idea what that was even supposed to relay. Did you mean that I should look at closed source software to see how bad it is? Yea, I believe it. That's why I just blacklist it in the firewall. Can you do that? Nah, because stupid Linux can block only ip addresses, and in order to block one program and have another work you gotta be a rocket surgeon. That's like, the most basic functionality. This should exist by default and have GUI and 25 alternative versions of the program. Not just 2 experimental abandoned ones that no normal person can install. Also, sandboxing exists. Closed source can't do shit to me, and for the majority of popular programs, privacy bois have posted their conclusions.

  3. this is literally 3. Same answer applies. If I was on a lonely island with Win 10 basic, The first thing I would do is delete the whole store and cortana annd prevent updates. Hell, I would even go so far as to use the terminal (see, how normal peopel use that shit only in super extreme situations, and not for basic fuctionality?)
