Is it OK if I [30; F] bring someone along to wait for me in the hall while I interview for a job?

well, them waiting outside wouldn't even be a problem and wouldn't be posting this lol))) the firm is on the 3rd floor, nobody would even know. so yeah... the problem with outside the building is - how are they going to help me if anything happens? they need to be in the earshot, in the hallway, why would they wait outside in the heat? makes sense to have them wait in the hall... normal companies have huge halls, nobody would even notice. these guys I think don't have a huge hall so the bring-along person is likely to be noticeable but well, things happen, I don't see why it can't be that I had to pick them up from somewhere and did not have the time to drop them off, why can't they wait in the hall, have a glass of water, all visitors get that treatment, normally.
