Ok I’m writing this right after it happened, sleep paralysis is scary shit

Late to the party, but I've experienced sleep paralysis a few times and it's so scary every time. The first time I ever experienced it was when I was in college (probably about ten years ago). It must have been October because my friends and I would have "scary movie nights" every weekend leading up to Halloween, and I remember we had previously watched The Exorcism of Emily Rose. For some reason the scene where she basically get sucked into/stuck in her bed really freaked me out.

I was taking a nap between classes, and I remember hearing what sounded like helicopter blades but in slow motion, like a loud, slow, whooshing sound. I couldn't move, and that darn scene where Emily Rose couldn't move from her bed as she becomes possessed was the first thing that crossed my mind. Scared the shit out of me until I could move again.

A few other times I've experienced it, I've been able to sit up as I've come out of it, but my whole body would feel so heavy and my eyes would always roll to the back of my head. My brain would basically force me back to sleep even though I wanted to wake up. I haven't had sleep paralysis in a few years, and hopefully I can keep it that way!
