"Ok, my heir inherited some land from his mother's side; I'm sure he'll keep himself out of trouble."

My recent campaign: So I played as William the Conquerer and I married my daughter to a claimant of the HRE. I didnt declare war cause I wasn't ready yet. I did help france defeat the HRE around that time despite having no business helping them cause I had like 1k troops, I got lucky I caught the emperor's son cause otherwise we'd lose. I just barely drove the vikings away so I waited. William died and when my daughter became queen I had to fight a civil war which I had no chance of winning so I spent all of my money on mercs. By the time I was ready to claim the HRE for my husband I can't anymore cause I think they changed emperors? Idk but he lost his claim.
