I think maybe she had nothing else to say, too. We use that party to catch up on what the others are doing. Those who work can talk about coworkers, projects. Those who study can talk about new people they met and subjects they are doing. Plus we all travel, go to events, did stuff. She pretty much just stayed home the whole year, either heavily pregnant or with the baby and from what she told us, she just spend her time watching tv and waiting for her boyfriend to go home. It sounded very sad to be fair. But, again, kinda self inflicted martyrdom because lots of my cousins are parents and they still have lives and hobbies and stuff, newborn or not.
