I’ve tried and it’s not that straightforward. I’ve looked and some documents say they can break confidentiality for child abuse (with no mention of anything else suicidality, which I know they report from asking), and another document said they’ll report where harm is possible for the client (which I’m not sure whether they would consider in my situation, thus me asking).

Given that these documents are from the licencing body, I’m a little suspicious of the inconsistency and therefore don’t know what to trust or whether my situation falls within the scope.

Perhaps these things aren’t hard to find for you, but I’m not in North America, for reference.
