Not to invalidate her feelings, but most of this sounds a lot like social anxiety, rather than outright bullying. Like the guy who was saying her eyelashes were too long and that she should cut them was more than likely just joking around, or even trying awkwardly to flirt; the way people “made fun” of her for being emo probably didn’t realize it bothered her since she seemed to like the aesthetic and never “stood up for herself” (read, laughed it off and didn’t give any indication that it hurt); incidents like the body comparisons may have been way more about the other girl’s insecurities than thinking Eugenia was “fat.” It’s the whole thing of where if you think someone isn’t insecure about something, you can kind of give them a hard time about it because you expect them to not take it super seriously and know that you’re joking around.

Like, I’m sure that some of it was mean-spirited and intentionally hurtful, but to face horrible bullying everywhere you go is pretty rare. The fact that she thinks “defending herself” would be “mean” kind of shows that she thinks anything that isn’t overly nice should be interpreted as a personal attack.
