I have been after a T30 in this spec for the last few months and have not had much luck finding one locally...until today!

I came across the listing for this T30 on my local craigslist and just about fainted! It's in excellent working condition with just a bit of shine on some of the keys but no cracks, dings or dents.

As soon as I saw the listing I immediately emailed the seller, met up with him earlier today and brought it home. It's the total package and included the port replicator docking station, 16v AC adapter and the Ultrabay HDD caddy + 60GB HDD.

The seller was also a ThinkPad enthusiast and we chatted for a few minutes about my plans for this machine, it will be reborn as a dedicated BMW DIS/TIS diagnostic station running on it's native hardware. It's old but trusty, just like me and the cars it will be working on. :)

My only immediate plans for it are BIOS/EC updates and maybe a new battery but that is not critical as it will be plugged in during use.
